Butch is great, his survey report was on point and detailed his explanation in layman’s terms were very helpful. I feel that this was the best money spent Stem to Stern is a top quality and professional company.

Fair pricing and really knows what he is doing

I found Butch on line. I had him do two surveys for me. Thank God he saved from buying a yacht that looked good but had major problems that I would have never found. The second survey he did a great job. If you want to hire someone with fair pricing and really knows what he is doing Butch is the man.

I located Stem to Stern Marine Surveying via a basic web search and reached out to them regarding potentially surveying a boat I was looking at, which happened to not be a boat I pursued after seeing the vessel. Several boats later and an email thread that was a mile long I finally found the boat I was after. Butch was more than extremely patient with me throughout the process, extremely helpful, professional, very responsive, and turned out to be a wealth of walking knowledge. Outstanding work, Butch easy to work with, he did an impressive job on the survey. All documentation is clear, concise, neat and organized. his knowledge of marine propulsion and marine system ensured that, we had a clear picture of what the state of the vessel is. Butch communicated throughout the entire process on what the next steps were. we were never left not understanding what was expected. his attention to detail and exacting standards are held in high regard.

Went above and beyond what a surveyor should do

I can’t say enough about Butch and his company. Before I called him, I read the reviews and heard all the great things that people was saying I thought well he can’t be that great. I was wrong. He went above and beyond what a surveyor should do. Explaining problems to me as he did the survey on the boat and even while on his vacation, he made a change to the survey that the loan officer was needing all so I would be able to close. Wow! You just don’t get service like this anymore. He treated the survey as if he was purchasing the boat giving me all the good and bad news and advise that he clearly is well experienced in.
